Opening of the Ramadan Charity Kitchen in Amran Governorate for the year 2022

The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Saghir Juman, the Deputy Governor, Hassan Al-Ashkas, and the Director General of the General Authority for Zakat Branch, Muhammad Al-Shahrani, opened the Al-Ihsan Ramadan Charitable Kitchen, which is held by the Yemen support Foundation for Relief and Reconstruction(YSFR) in partnership with the General Authority for Zakat and community initiatives targeting more than 700 families. The Governor of Amran stressed during the inauguration that these charitable projects come to revive the values of social solidarity and charity for the poor and needy and meet their needs during the holy month of Ramadan. He praised the efforts of workers and supporters in establishing these Ramadan kitchens, which contribute to strengthening the principle of solidarity among members of society and extending a helping hand to needy and needy families and alleviating their suffering. He called on institutions, associations, wealthy people, and businessmen to seize the opportunity of reward in this holy month, in which God Almighty doubles the reward. By providing aid and assistance to the poor and supporting these charitable initiatives. In turn, the CEO of the Foundation, Muhammad Al-Qataa, said that the launch of the Foundation’s first charitable work in these projects comes within the framework of the social solidarity campaign. He explained that the project provides a dinner meal consisting of (rice + cooking + bread + milk + chicken two days a week) for 700 poor and chaste families daily. During the inauguration, Governorate Undersecretary Hassan Al-Ashkas and Director of the Zakat Authority Al-Shahrani praised the community initiatives and the contribution of benefactors. They emphasized that these simple acts are great in the sight of God in light of the ongoing war, calling on the wealthy, businessmen, wealthy people, and philanthropists to support charitable and humanitarian projects. The inauguration was attended by the Director General of the General Corporation for Agricultural Services, Abdullah Saaleeh, the Director of the General Authority for Zakat branch in the Amran District, Hussein Al-Haddi, and the Deputy Director General of Youth and Sports, Mazen. Al-Madkhadi, the institution’s supervisory and inspection official, Taha Al-Hadi, human resources, Muhammad Al-Bin, and the director of education in the Amran Directorate, Qasim Al-Hajzi.
